Are you suffering from severe headaches and migraines? The most common locations that suffer from migraine and headache pain are the neck and back of the head. According to online medical resources, millions of Americans suffer from migraines and headaches. Unfortunately, migraines are most common in women.

Let’s start

To alleviate migraines and headaches, it is important to understand the causes, types, and symptoms of headaches. There are three types of headaches, according to my knowledge. They can be classified as cluster, migraine, and tension. Tension headaches are the first. This headache is caused by stress and muscle contraction. Tension headache sufferers may feel pain in their forehead, temples and back.

When there is muscle tension, the blood flow is restricted. Migraines are the second type of headaches. This happens when blood vessels in the brain are abnormally constricted or enlarged. Auras are common in migraine sufferers. Aura can be described as a flashing light, blind spots, or loss of peripheral sight. It is important to remember the temporary loss of peripheral vision (the last one) is only temporary.

Pain Factor

The pain can also be described by throbbing or pulsating. For some, the pain can last hours or days. Other symptoms include nausea, vomiting, unilateral headaches, numbness, tingling sensations, and sleep disturbances. Cluster headaches are the last type of headache.

Why clusters? The name is what defines it. These types of strikes can occur in a group or a cluster. It may last for just a few hours, or it could return for days, weeks, or if you’re lucky, even months. This type of headache is most common at night or at dawn. The pain is usually felt around or at one’s rear end. Yes, headaches are more common in women than in men. This type is more common in men.
